DESIGN: Inspired by the evolution of tody’s cities, our Artisans approached the farmhouse sink design looking to bridge the gap between traditional and modern. By combining classic elements like the flat front, with sleeker side walls and sharper edges, our designers meticulously crafted a product to meet the needs of the discerning, modern-day customer. MATERIALS: Ultra-fine white SOLID fireclay mined from quarries across Italy, France, Israel and high performance silica glaze. Extended-pin 306 stainless steel drain. PRODUCTION: Using a proprietary blend of ultra fine fireclay and water, poured into high pressure compression molds, each sink is hand-glazed and fired at over 2000 degrees (F), creating an ultra-hard, smooth, non-pourous, heat and damage resistant material. SOLID ULTRA-FINE FIRECLAY SINK: Starting with ultra-fine fireclay mined from quarries across Italy, France, Turkey, and Israel, Fossil Blu fireclay sinks are first compression molded to ensure 90-degree walls and corners. Next, true to ancient, proven techniques, each sink is then low-fired and hand-glazed with our proprietary silica glaze. Following this, sinks are high-fired at over 2000 degrees (F) for 16 hours, creating an ultra-hard, smooth, non-porous, heat and damage resistant material.
ACCESSORIES: Fossil Blu Fireclay sinks are DISPOSAL READY with included 304 stainless extended (extra depth) disposal flange and stopper. For those not installing a disposal, a 304 stainless modern style drain is included. Also included with each sink is a CUSTOM-FITTED luxury 304 stainless basin rack (sink grid) capable of supporting up to 200 LBS of dishes.

With this, we also put a lot of thought into our packaging, and each of our sinks ships with 360-degrees of 2-inch thick springy EPE foam and a 350-pound test-strength double-wall box.
