MATERIAL: With 50 pounds of pure copper going into each and every of our sinks, Fossil Blu’s 12-gauge copper makes for the thickest and strongest copper farmhouse sinks to be had within the American market. Our copper is mined, refined and manufactured in Northern India, with copper purity tolerances held at 99.7% (.3% mineral phosphorous added for material strength).
FINISH: This sink is hand-hammered in an intentionally randomized pattern. It includes a medium “antique” natural patina finish. Given the natural and handmade processes involved, no two sinks are exactly alike.
SHAPE: Large, functional, and beautiful, Fossil Blu’s 33″ copper sinks not only benefit busy households, but they make a remark. The massive, bowing shape of the apron not only shows its material quality, but serves to bring the sink forward, creating more room in the back of the sink – best for corner installs, and for the ones limited in countertop depth.
